| January – October: Monthly Meetings: 4th Thursday of each month, 6:30 p.m., January to October. April – October: Salem’s First Wednesday: 1st Wednesday of each month, 5-8 p.m., April to September. June 2006: Deepwood Celebrates the Garden: June 17th, 10 am. to 5 pm. Visual artists, garden artists and plant vendors show and offer for sale their garden inspired art and "wares". Deepwood Estate link. Lavender Festival: June 23rd - 25th, 10am to 6pm. Photos from the 2006 Lavender Festival now online! World Beat Festival: June 24th, 10am to 11pm & June 25th, 11am to 6pm. Sell your artwork in the European section, and help with our booth. Contact Tricia Young at 503-362-3870 for details. July 2006: Paint the Town! Kicks Off! Artists in Action takes charge in July with a group exhibit at Cascade Baking Company and kicks off Paint the Town on the 1st Wednesday in July, with artists all about town with emphasis on historic buildings. CLICK HERE FOR "KICK OFF" DETAILS!!!!! A reception will be held at Elsinore Gallery & Framing on Saturday, September 9, from 3-5pm The exhibit will be up the whole month of September. Salem Art Fair & Festival booth - "Outside the Box". Create/design a box for AiA fundraising, and/or volunteer to staff the booth. TBD September 2006: Paint the Town! Juried Art Show, Opening and Reception (TBD) November - December 2006 "Something Red" Artists In Action's 4rd Annual “Celebrate December - Something Red" art walk, show and sale, sponsored in conjunction with Salem Downtown Association.
