February - June 2007 Visual Arts rotating exhibits- Reed Opera House, 2nd floor, in conjunction with Salem Repertory Theatre and Worldbeat Festival Organization April – October 2007 Salem’s First Wednesday: 1st Wednesday of each month, 5-8 p.m., April to October. May 18, 19 & 20, 2007 Iris Festival features AIA artists - Plein Air Painting, Exhibit & Sales SCHREINER'S IRIS GARDENS, 3625 Quinaby Rd NE, Keizer, Oregon, Ph 503 393-3232 Painting times and booth times listed below: Friday, May 18 1 PM - 8 PM Saturday, May 19 10 AM - 8 PM Sunday, May 20 10 AM - 6 PM Known for their magnificent Bearded Irises, Schreiner's Iris Garden delights the eye with color splashes as you stroll through the lovely grounds and garden settings. Seemingly endless Irises, other flowers, and plants charm the visitor as spring unfolds in the valley and music fills the air. June 2007: Lavender season begins. Dates & locations TBA June 30 - July 1, 2007 World Beat Festival: Sell your artwork in the European section, and help with our booth. Contact Tricia Young at 503-362-3870 for details. July 2007: "Paint the Town!" kicks off! Artists in Action takes charge in July at locations in and around the Salem community. Check website for update on specific locations and dates. July 20, 21, & 22, 2007 Salem Art Fair & Festival: AiA hosts booth "Outside the Box". Artists create/design a box for AiA fundraising, and/or volunteer to staff the booth. August 24 - Sept 3, 2007 Oregon State Fair Artisans Alley hosted by AiA Members September 2007: Paint the Town! Juried Art Show, Opening and Reception (date & location TBD) December 2007 "Something Red" Artists In Action's 5th Annual “Celebrate December - Something Red" art walk and month-long exhibit Please check website for updated events and details. |
