FIRST WEDNESDAYS in SALEM:
Artists in Action members exhibit their works downtown in shops and galleries participating in Salem's First Wednesdays throughout the year, helping bring visual arts into the downtown community.
SPINNAKER PLACE:
Artists in Action's ONLY continuing exhibit space for AiA members is located at Spinnaker Place in Salem Oregon. Please Click Here for details.
OTHER COMMUNITY EVENTS:

WORLD BEAT FESTIVAL:
Artist in Action will have a fine-art booth at the Salem World Beat Festival in the European Circle. This annual multi-cultural event is held the last weekend in June at Salem's Riverfront Park.

PAINT THE TOWN:
An annual summer event, beginning First Wednesday in June and continuing through summer for painting "en plein air" at several locations in and around Salem (dates and locations to be announced). Artists get a chance to emerge from their studios and create on location at selected sites around Salem. Since 1998, Paint the Town has attracted many artists and spectators for this event. This event results in a juried group show in the Fall.

Polk County - September 10-11; Marion County - Sept 17-18

A self-guided public tour to local artist studios in Marion and Polk County. Visitors meet with artists and see how their art is made.

SOMETHING RED:
Artists in Action's Annual "Celebrate December-Something Red" Art Walk, Show & Sale. The success of pasts years demonstrates that this event is one of the highlights of the holiday season for Salem area residents by contributing to the vitality, ambiance, and sense of community of downtown Salem. Participating artists also benefit from sales and contacts. (Details for 2011 TBA)
